and bypass this sometimes humiliating process gets us down. We hate asking people for money, we are proud and independent people. This has the the hardest struggle for both Stuart and I so far….It changes things when you have to ask for money…it puts you in a different position with people and its embarrassing although nobody has ever made us feel that way….We have had nothing but respect and kindness from people but sometimes that can be the hardest thing to accept……Its true that it is possibly easier to give than receive and especially for Stuart who is a proud man. He has struggled with this process, But we both know that if we don’t do this, Leo won’t get this chance and when I think of that, I just, as my great friend Sonya would say, ‘Suck it up’ and get on with it
